Move over, Dave Grohl! We have a new bombshell celebrity love child scandal, this time involving Kevin Costner!
As Perezcious readers will recall, the Dances With Wolves star was involved in an extremely contentious divorce last year. Christine Baumgartner reportedly “stunned” Kevin by filing for divorce after 25 years of marriage last year. The divorce dragged from May 2023 to February of this year as they battled it out in court over everything. One huge point of contention was the finances and prenup, with the former handbag designer asking for an astronomical amount of child support. Things got so messy that they were even fighting over how many pots and pans she could take at one point! We’re serious. Pots and pans!

With how nasty their split became, we had to wonder why. What happened between Kevin and Christine to cause them to squabble over the most trivial things at times? Well, they did go head-to-head over whether either of them cheated!
She demanded documents related to “any extramarital romantic relationships” in August 2023, meaning she believed Kevin was having affairs! However, Kevin shut down the allegations in court docs, saying he could not hand over any receipts “relating to extramarital romantic relationships.” Why? Because he had nothing to submit! He denied having ever cheated! Christine, though? Kevin implied she might have stepped out, noting in the docs that he had no idea if she engaged in any affairs before their separation.
Later, a source came forward to claim Kevin “had strong suspicions that something was going on between Christine” and their next-door neighbor, Josh Connor. So the narrative quickly became that The Bodyguard star was the victim here as his wife left for another guy.
But has Kevin been lying this entire time? Did he actually cheat on Christine? That’s apparently the scuttlebutt in Big Sky Country, far from the fancy law offices of El Lay…
On Thursday’s Deux U podcast, DeuxMoi said someone asked during a Q&A about “what ever happened to those pregnancy rumors while filming Yellowstone” regarding Kevin Costner. PREGNANCY RUMORS?!?! WHAT! Here is the deal. According to DeuxMoi, she received a DM a while back that spilled the tea! She read:
“A friend of a good friend – but close enough that I trust the intel – works on the set of Yellowstone and says that Kevin Costner got some local Montana girl pregnant and that’s why his wife is leaving him. Apparently, it’s been the gossip going around the Montana locals for weeks now. As fact, and everybody knows this.”
So he cheated and got a woman in Montana pregnant while filming Yellowstone?? And when Christine found out about his infidelity, she decided to dump him? Damn!
Wait, that would mean he tried to suggest she stepped out of their marriage as a tactic to deflect from his own cheating?! Oh s**t! If this is true, this changes everything! No wonder why she was next level petty and difficult at times! It all makes so much sense now! What a huge betrayal — if this is legit!
Of course, take the tip with a grain of salt. DeuxMoi noted she has no idea if the rumor is true. When she asked the source how “reliable” they thought the claim was, the person’s response? The gossip maven said the source was rock solid, telling her:
“I feel pretty reliable only because this friend is a Montana local, born, raised, resides. She has a lot of friends there. Some who work at the Yellowstone club and have crazy celeb stories. (Justin Timberlake = a total dog) This was the only one she’s ever told that she was like yeah, no, this is what everyone knows.”
Wow, this is more than goss for the locals. They just accept it as fact! Damn!
However, the source did admit her friend “doesn’t know” the woman who got pregnant. So… Who knows, right?
We also feel like Christine would have brought up this massive bombshell about her ex-husband during the divorce process. Unless she was keeping it in her back pocket just in case things did not go her way? When the pair finalized their divorce, insiders told TMZ that Christine most likely received A LOT in the settlement to end the legal battle despite the prenup. Is there a chance Kevin gave in and bought her silence to make sure this never got out? Hmm.
Innerestingly, DeuxMoi said she’s heard from locals who say they “don’t like” Kevin there — and generally “don’t gossip and aren’t easily impressed by celebrities.” Huh. If they don’t usually gossip, maybe there really is something there that folks know?? We need some Montana locals to start spilling some more tea STAT!
