Remember when Taylor Swift was afraid of the backlash when voicing political opinions?
Eventually, like most of us, she couldn’t help but talk about it once politics engulfed every subject in our lives.
Now she’s coming out and taking strong stances like “don’t discriminate against people for being LGBT” and “women should have access to healthcare.”
(We’re not being sarcastic, those are actually seen as strong political stances these days. That’s what we’re saying, the world is cray.)

So now the other foot really is dropping, but the person doing the stomping is none other than fellow musician Kid Rock.
The fervent Donald Trump supporter took to Twitter on Friday to hurl insults at Taylor. As the comment wasn’t about any actual political positions, Kid Rock was presumably acting out of pure political tribalism. So… what did he have to say?

“Taylor Swift wants to be a democrat because she wants to be in movies….period. And it looks like she will suck the door knob off Hollyweird to get there. Oldest move in the book. Good luck girl.

First off, it’s hilarious the idea some conservatives people are pretending to have empathy and beliefs in equal rights because it’s popular. It really makes you wonder about those folks if they can’t believe those things are real.
But second — and most striking — what is with the oral sex comment??
He’s essentially calling Taylor a prostitute? Saying she’s committing literal or figurative sex acts to get into the industry? How gross can you get??

Obviously Kid Rock got called out immediately and HILARIOUSLY for his disgusting tweet.

Ha! Seriously, why does he think a tweet needs attribution?
John Fugelsang joked:
“If Kid Rock really does run for the US Senate I promise I will run against him – after changing my name …to Kid Paper.”
But the best response was from Patton Oswalt, who gave him the full-on 8 Mile treatment, calling out how he was secretly a rich kid just putting on a streets-of-Detroit act!
“Amen, Bob. She should be a real American like you, growing up on a six acre estate complete with tennis court and horse paddock, and then bravely adopting a faux “redneck s**tkicker” cosplay persona. God bless you, buddy ruff.”

That’s all true, btw. Kid Rock grew up in a mansion 40 miles from Detroit.
So the question is, along with pretending to be a poor kid from the Detroit streets, did he also pretend to be a Democrat for his big movie career, i.e. Biker Boyz and Joe Dirt??
