Channeling four of the most legendary icons in fashion — Anna Wintour, André Leon Talley, Grace Coddington, and Karl Lagerfeld — Kim and then-BFF Joyce Bonelli dressed up with their children as the chic foursome:

2015 — Herself
Although her 2013 Met Gala look was widely mocked, she recreated the look originally worn during her first pregnancy while expecting Saint West in 2015:
2017 — Madonna, Cher, Selena
After an Instagram hiatus (therefore, no Halloween photos) during the holiday season in 2016, Kimmy was back in full force in 2017! With big sis Kourtney Kardashian on her arm as Michael Jackson, Kim was a sparkly vision as Madonna, modeled after outfits worn by the two to the 1991 Academy Awards:
The KUWTK star and BFF Jonathan Cheban were inspired by Sonny and Cher‘s outfits worn to the 1974 Academy Awards for her second costume of the spooky season:
Clearly, the mother of four was feeling inspired by musical icons in 2017! She channeled her inner Selena, wearing a nearly identical purple jumpsuit to the one worn by the Dreaming Of You songstress at the final performance before her passing:
2018 — VS Angel, Pamela Anderson
Mrs. West was nearly unrecognizable as Pamela Anderson while Jonathan was her other half as Tommy Lee, inspired by the look worn by the couple to the 1999 VMAs:
Along with her sisters, Kim and co. borrowed runway looks straight from Victoria’s Secret to dress as angels:
2019 — Elle Woods
Kim won Halloween in 2019 with a jaw-dropping recreation of Reese Witherspoon‘s fictional character and law student Elle Woods from the classic movie, Legally Blonde. Not only did the momma of four nail the look, including an adorable version of the beloved pup Bruiser in her bag for an extra touch, but the choice also couldn’t be more spot-on since she’s currently studying to become a lawyer, too!
She even recreated the infamous Harvard Law school video submission essay from the film! See the epic video here:
2020
Carole Baskin. Killed her husband, whacked him. Can’t convince me that it didn’t happen.
The stars of Netflix‘s 2020 hit Tiger King, Carole Baskin and Joe Exotic, inspired what seemed like the most popular Halloween costumes of the year! While Kimmy Kakes was far from original, she and BFF Jonathan Cheban went ALL OUT to recreate the famed enemies, even enlisting the reality TV star’s four children!
2021
This year, the celeb collaborated with iconic designer Thierry Mugler, who passed months later, for an out-of-this-world CowBot costume! That sounds straight out of an ’80s adult film — except Miz Kardashian’s elaborate outfit was anything but! And you know it had to be if it was going to mark her first Halloween as a single lady, having filed for divorce from Kanye West earlier in 2021.
2022
Taking a page out of Jennifer Lawrence‘s book, the momma of four went Mystique on fans with her Marvel influenced creation. Between the skintight latex to the insane prosthetics and body paint, it seems obvious this look would be up there with her best!
Bonus — The Kids
Before there was Baby Shark, there was baby skunk! North West was too sweet during her second Halloween in 2014:
In 2015, North and Penelope Disick were sisters Elsa and Anna from Disney‘s Frozen, and later dressed as a ladybug and Wonder Woman respectively with BFF Ryan Romulus, who was a unicorn:
Together is better! In 2018, Saint and Reign Disick dressed as Ye and Lil Pump from the I Love It music video, while North and Penelope were Fiji Water and San Pellegrino bottles:
In 2019, Kim got her entire brood to dress up like The Flinstones family, and these shots of her North and Sait dressed up like Betty Rubble and Fred Flinstone really make us want to say yabba, dabba, doo!
That same year, the Wests became the “West Worms” in another cool, bug-themed costume and we wouldn’t dare to hurt another fly after seeing these pics:
