In between her Met Gala fittings and CBD baby showers, Kim Kardashian West is still finding the time to change lives.
The KUWTK star flew out to visit some of the inmates she recently helped free from prison earlier this week. One of those lucky former prisoners was Paul Algarin, who was blessed with a house call from Kim and Kanye West weeks after he was released from Central Prison in North Carolina after serving seven years.
According to an Instagram post from Paul’s twin sister Azaria, Kim and Kanye flew out to Charlotte to meet with the former inmate and the rest of the family a day after the couple attended the 2019 Met Gala. But it wasn’t simply a meet and greet: the future lawyer also brought a doctor to discuss removing Paul’s face tattoos so he can get back on his feet!

In the post she shared on Tuesday, which featured a series of snaps of her and her brother meeting the Wests (above), Azaria explained that her bro had asked for the reality star’s address while he was locked up so he could thank her for the prison reform work she’s been doing lately.
Azaria admitted she thought Paul’s hopes of getting a response from the 38-year-old star were “unrealistic and silly.” She explained in the since-deleted caption:
“Recently my brother was released from central prison where he served an accumulation of 7 years. Throughout my brothers time in prison he shared his dreams, aspirations, and goals with me- I always thought some were unrealistic & silly... He asked me for Kim’s address so he could send her a letter & I rolled my eyes & never sent I. Eventually my mom sent it to him so he would stop harassing us.”
But, to Azaria’s shock, Kimmy Kakes not only wrote her 24-year-old brother back, she and her husband flew in to meet Paul in person — and help him get his facial tattoos removed!
She continued:
“Fast forward to yesterday. Kim flew in to CLT with her doctor to have lunch with us & start the procedure of removing my brothers face tattoos. Never in a million years did I think Kim would write him back (or even read his letter), fly in right after the met gala (not to mention her 4th baby is due at any minute), invest in our family & laugh / relate to us over the smallest things.”
Wow!
According to TMZ, the group had lunch at The Lights Juicery & Cafe, then went to MedSpa nearby for Paul’s first lasering session to remove his facial ink. And, yes, Kimye are said to be paying for Paul’s procedure.

Not only is Kim’s effort helping him get a fresh start, the meeting also apparently helped bring his family together again. Azaria revealed:
“I’m so proud of my brother for taking steps in the right direction. Our relationship hasn’t been the easiest. I pushed him away for years out of hurt for his absence, but yesterday was all the feels. I felt like we were children again & that he wasn’t gone for the last 7 years. Such a special day that I will forever cherish.”
Amazing! No one can say that say Kim Kardashian isn’t changing lives for the better!

As we’ve written, Kim is becoming quite popular with prisoners and their families since she’s helped over 17 inmates gain freedom over the last 3 months… and gurl’s not slowing down anytime soon.
