Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have nothing but pride for their daughter North.
During Thursday’s episode of The Kardashians, cameras took viewers inside the 11-year-old’s performance as Simba in a musical production of The Lion King at the Hollywood Bowl. You know, the one that led to all those nepo baby criticisms last year?? Yeah, that one. But Kim does not GAF!
During the episode, she addresses nepotism allegations head-on, admitting that while her preteen isn’t a world class singer, she is “the moment.” And people WANT to see her whether Kim pulls a few strings to get her places or not! She tells cameras:
“I already know what’s coming. You know, that she’s not Whitney Houston. Duh. ‘Oh, she got the job because of her parents.’ North is the moment. They want to see North West on a TikTok, on a this, on a anything, because she’s a personality, a performer.”
That she definitely is! The 44-year-old went on to share a harsh message for critics:
“And if anyone wants to hate on a child that is having the time of their lives, f**k you!”
Damn!

After the performance, Kim shares she’s “so proud of” North and thought “she killed it,” adding:
“It’s such a proud moment as a mom to see your child have so much fun and not be nervous at all. She’s so proud of herself. She did such a great job. And anyone that is hating on a kid is just a hater — she’s not there to be Mariah Carey.”
But Kim wasn’t the only proud parent there! North’s poppa Ye was also supporting the youngin’! And despite their differences, Kim was happy he was there:
“Kanye and I want the best for our kids. So any time we’re here supporting our child, it’s always good vibes.”
That’s very mature.
She noted Kanye had been “involved” in some of North’s rehearsals, and “of course” had a thing or two to say on the production design — which she thinks the team should have taken note of:
“I just look at them and I’m like, ‘It will be a better production [if you take his notes].”
Ha!
After the show, both Kim and Kanye went backstage to greet their daughter, and the disgraced rapper struck a conversation with the SKIMS founder:
“Man, she did so good. What did you think?”
Kim responds:
“I was just crying from the side.”

Let it be noted, this was before Kanye’s most recent antisemitic Nazi rant… We wonder if Kim would still give him the same courtesy of engaging in a conversation with him now?
