If you haven’t heard, Kim Kardashian West was robbed at gunpoint in a Paris hotel early Monday morning as men entered her room and stole items worth about $10 million.
As we’re sure you know, there are some people out there who aren’t the biggest Kim K. fans, but luckily the reality star has people like James Corden and Chrissy Teigen who will defend her Twitter honor!

After Kardashian West’s scary incident, there were of course AWFUL people who took to the social media site to joke about the robbery, but the host of The Late Late Show showed how classy he is by reminding everyone:
People making jokes about @KimKardashian tonight would do well to remember that she’s a mother,a daughter,a wife,a friend.Be nice or shut up

Though the British funnyman was on point with his message, Teigen really hammered the message home by being a bit more blunt with her NSFW response as she tweeted:
Some shit just isn’t funny. I see you trying, but it isn’t.

Fame is interesting. Celebs are supposed to love you guys while also knowing you’d make a meme of our dead bodies to get retweets
— christine teigen (@chrissyteigen) October 3, 2016
One troll then tried to call out Chrissy as they tweeted:
@chrissyteigen you make your money off of us. Doesn’t matter who it is, celebs or business ppl or doctors. Respect your money source.

Of course the model wasn’t having any of it as she responded:
lol. you have no idea. and I don’t expect you to. https://t.co/ND0BxjLa61

C.T. replied to another hater simply writing:
I call this the “short skirt” https://t.co/ooT3TrHKFg
— christine teigen (@chrissyteigen) October 3, 2016
The 30-year-old continued her point by sharing:
I dunno. It’s hard to explain because everyone thinks money and fame is pure awesome, so it just sounds whiny. I get it, trust me. Go off.
— christine teigen (@chrissyteigen) October 3, 2016
It is just a weird little world that I cannot expect anyone to get. I know it seems super awesome and laughable. I know.
— christine teigen (@chrissyteigen) October 3, 2016
I myself think it is bonkers.
— christine teigen (@chrissyteigen) October 3, 2016
John Legend‘s wife of course received more hate from another Twitter user who said:
@chrissyteigen No one likes robbery at gunpoint. Then again should people feel sorry for someone who owns millions of $ in jewelry alone?

But the Lip Sync Battle co-host had the PERFECT response as she snapped back:
No one is begging you for sympathy. I know the game plan is to naturally hate celebrities https://t.co/EMHRslQKu6
— christine teigen (@chrissyteigen) October 3, 2016
The mother-of-one went on to wrap up her point while responding to a couple more haters as she shared:
I’m not trying to be condescending. I really do get it. I would be the same way if I didn’t have the random opportunity to see both sides.
— christine teigen (@chrissyteigen) October 3, 2016
Please do not think that I think celebrities are special snowflakes. I just miss empathy, in general, for everyone.
— christine teigen (@chrissyteigen) October 3, 2016
Not sure if it matters but I definitely used to get 3 dollars worth of gas at a time and “check into cash” all paydays https://t.co/FAw3JAPdSO
— christine teigen (@chrissyteigen) October 3, 2016
But I do. I really care if you like me or if I make you happy. https://t.co/f9MX2VmOWo
— christine teigen (@chrissyteigen) October 3, 2016
Anyhow, got away from my original point but I don’t want anyone to feel sorry for anyone. Just appreciate a solid convo on the tweeter.
— christine teigen (@chrissyteigen) October 3, 2016
“Why don’t you speak about [insert random world issue]???” – I do. And my mentions are shit then, too.
— christine teigen (@chrissyteigen) October 3, 2016
It’s a miracle I am still on here.

Chrissy couldn’t help but respond to a couple more trolls, as one told her to “worry about pleasing your husband not your once in a lifetime trolls” to which she replied:
Get you a girl who can do both https://t.co/sw6j6Q0KHl
— christine teigen (@chrissyteigen) October 3, 2016
YAAAS!
The 30-year-old beauty’s final slam of the night came when one user tried to ask, “you’re famous?” to which she told him:
I guess famous enough to not have to put my entire resume since 8th grade in my bio https://t.co/fqVIdMFIRd
— christine teigen (@chrissyteigen) October 3, 2016
LOLz!
Though we LOVE Corden and Chrissy’s responses, we wouldn’t expect much less from them as they’re both generally class acts! However, the one response that DID surprise us was Piers Morgan as he tweeted some actual support for the reality star saying:
Feel very sorry for @KimKardashian. Must have been a terrifying experience. #Paris #robbery
— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) October 3, 2016
That’s right people, if Piers can play nice, so can you!
Make sure you stay tuned for more details regarding Kim’s robbery as we’re sure more info will come out!
