NBA star Kevin Love tweeted, “Please no. Please god no. It can’t be true,” while longtime NBA player and former Kobe adversary Paul Pierce added, “This is not real right now.”

Former basketball star Scottie Pippen shared his own thoughts, adding, “I’m stunned. Words can’t even come close to describing it. Just an incredibly sad and tragic day.”

Current Philadelphia 76ers star had more to add about the tragic accident, too, writing (below):

“Man I don’t even know where to start?? I started playing ball because of KOBE after watching the 2010 finals. I had never watched ball before that and that finals was the turning point of my life. I WANTED TO BE LIKE KOBE. I’m so FREAKING SAD right now!!!!”

Singer Bruno Mars shared his own take on the tragedy right now:

“Kobe was a real life super hero on that court & I’m sure he was one to his family. Sending love and prayers to them. This is heartbreaking.”

Even the President had a say about the tragedy today; Donald Trump tweeted this about the tragic helicopter accident several hours ago:

“Reports are that basketball great Kobe Bryant and three others have been killed in a helicopter crash in California. That is terrible news!”

Baseball star — and fellow Los Angeles-area superstar — Mike Trout added more, as well, writing on Twitter:

“My heart and prayers go out to the Bryant family and the passengers’ families on this sad day. The impact Kobe had on the world cannot be expressed in words. RIP to a legend and a friend… ??”

Chrissy Teigen perfectly summed up what’s going on in downtown LA at the Grammys right now, hours before the show:

No kidding.

Even Taylor Swift got in on the condolences, tweeting a very sweet message to Kobe’s family and loved ones (below):

“My heart is in pieces hearing the news of this unimaginable tragedy. I can’t fathom what the families are going through. Kobe meant so much to me and to us all. Sending my prayers, love, and endless condolences to Vanessa and the family and anyone who lost someone on that flight.”

Well said.

Even Kylie Jenner did her thing here:

Finally, Shaquille O’Neal, Kobe’s longtime teammate and friend with the Lakers, shared his own condolences on Twitter with a series of pictures of the two of them together from back in the day while they were playing and winning championships.

It’s tough to look at this and not get emotional about it (below):

Oh, man… So sad.

Wow.

Rest in peace, Kobe…
