Kristin Cavallari is so proud of her adorable little son… even amid all the divorce drama swirling around.
The Very Cavallari star is celebrating her son Jaxon Cutler‘s sixth birthday today, and to do so, she shared a sweet series of snaps showing the little man and momma having a special moment together. Along with it, too, came an emotional and sweet message of wisdom and love for her growing baby boy!

Celebrating her and Jay Cutler‘s middle child — the two are also parents to 7-year-old son Camden and 4-year-old daughter Saylor — the reality TV star didn’t hold back in gushing about the boy Jaxon is fast becoming. Writing alongside her pics, the proud young momma said (below):
“Happy 6th birthday my little man. Jaxy, you have such a sweet, sensitive side yet have the ability to make everyone laugh with your incredible sense of humor and wit. You light up a room and make this world a better place. I’m so thankful to be your momma. Love you forever angel.”

This also marks the very first time Kristin has posted on Instagram since announcing her split from the former NFL quarterback late last month. The shocking announcement of the pair’s breakup and path towards divorce took over the entertainment world for a while, leading the news every day with updates about contentious home-buying drama and complicated child custody arrangements. And of course, that all came right on the heels of the Bahamas trip from hell… it’s been quite a year for this family, without question.
More recently, Kristin has been marriage counseling for other couples about whether or not to tie the knot (yikes!), while unsubstantiated rumors have been flying freely about both of them estranged co-parents.

Thankfully for the pair and their three children, things appear to be a little smoother early this month, now that Kristin and Jay have separate residences and some distance between them to move forward separately. Still, this can’t be how poor Jaxon was really planning on spending his birthday, ya know?!
