'The Hills' Alum Kristin Cavallari Admits That 'Most Of' Her Storylines On The Show Weren't Real!

Kristin Cavallari says her story line on 'The Hills' was fake.

Way to tell us what we already knew…
Kristin Cavallari is one of the beloved The Hills cast members who won’t be returning to our TV screens with MTV‘s upcoming reboot.
The 32-year-old announced her decision to pass on The Hills: New Beginnings pretty early on, along with fellow old cast members Lauren Conrad and Lo Bosworth.
But as the new show’s premiere date draws near, the Very Cavallari star is pulling back the curtain and spilling a little tea about her experience on the hit reality show.

During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Wednesday, the reality star was asked for her reaction to former costar Whitney Port recently revealing that the famous trip to Paris from season one of the dramatic show never actually happened.
Wait, what?! You mean the permanent stain left on LC as “the girl who didn’t go to Paris” was total bulls**t after all?
Cavallari didn’t have much of an answer for that caller-submitted question. She laughed before admitting:

“This is the first I’m hearing about this. That was pre-my time.”

But then Kristin continues, with a revelation of her own:

“I’ve never heard that before, but I can tell you most of my stuff wasn’t real. I’m just happy that more people are coming out and saying that stuff isn’t real, because for the longest time it was only me. So thank you, Whitney.”

Well, there you have it. Not one, but two former stars of the El Lay-based series have confirmed that parts of the show were not real.
Ms. Port previously admitted that the whole Paris drama was fake, in an interview with Vogue back in March. At the time, she told the publication that the dramatic farewell scene between her and Conrad filmed at LAX was completely staged:

“That was so ridiculous. It wasn’t an ideal situation, but I thought, okay, this is good for me because I really was pursuing a career in fashion. I thought it showed that I was down and determined to do this. It was very Anne Hathaway as Andy Sachs [from The Devil Wears Prada]. I got dressed up in an airport look and went for it.”

Whitney went on to explain that after filming, both girls turned around went home. Neither woman ended up visiting the City of Lights. Sneaky, sneaky move right there by producers!
Like we said, this is hardly surprising news to hear, as The Hills was widely speculated to be fake during most of its original run.

But can we expect the same thing in the new reboot?

It’s truly hard to say, just yet. But considering how much drama has already unfolded between its stars in real life, it’s safe to say we’ll have enough juicy storylines to last through the season.
Before bouncing from the interview, Cavallari did share that she’s curious to see how newcomer Mischa Barton will fare with her old crew:

“It’s interesting. I’m curious like everybody else to see it. I can’t wait. I heard Stephanie Pratt is sort of stirring the pot.”
