Lala Kent has an update about her co-parenting relationship with her ex-fiancé Randall Emmett — and what she has to say may shock you!
For those who need a refresher, the former couple did NOT end their relationship on great terms four years ago. In October 2021, the Vanderpump Rules alum called off her engagement to Randall after he allegedly cheated on her (again) with multiple women in Nashville. And infidelity only scratched the surface of the gross alleged misdeeds of the movie producer! Lala later dropped several bombshell allegations about Randall, including that he “tackled” her when she confronted him about his affair.

They were locked in a bitter custody battle over their daughter Ocean for years. However, Lala and Emmett reached an agreement in March. Where do the pair stand now, though? Are they at each other’s throats? Or have they managed to find peace? The Bravo personality revealed on The Morning After podcast that she and her “baby daddy” are shockingly doing better than ever as co-parents! Wow! She said:
“We have been battling for many years and we finally got all of our ducks in a row and put the custody battle to bed. I’m home base for my child and we have structure. There’s bedtime and routine, and he just flies by the seat of his pants.”
Yet it’s not perfect all the time! Lala admitted that although she “tries to be chill” with the 54-year-old, she still loses it on him every now and then! For instance, the momma recalled he recently took Ocean on a late-night flight when she had school the next day, and she was not happy about it! She continued:
“I’m like, ‘Can we just get it together for five minutes?’ We’re all good. We’re still all good but I’m like, ‘You got me revved up.’”
We can’t blame her for being upset over the incident! It was a school night! That said, Lala insisted they truly have an “amicable” co-parenting relationship these days:
“I can call him and be like, ‘She’s acting out. ‘Listen to your dad on the phone, we’re communicating you will not hustle both households.’”
There are going to be times when a co-parent screws up, like how Randall did! But at least he and Lala can call each other and talk things out when it happens now! They weren’t always that way, so it’s great to know they are in a good place for Ocean! Watch the interview (below):
