Lance Bass has always had beef with Diddy!
On Wednesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Lance recalled P. Diddy opening for *NSYNC during their Celebrity Tour in 2002 — and revealed why he “never” liked him! The singer dished:
“I never had time to go to a Diddy party. I forgot he had opened up on our last tour until all this came about. Yeah, it’s kind of horrible.”
That last bit is, of course, a reference to Diddy’s sexual assault allegations and arrest for sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution, and fraud or coercion (all of which he has pleaded not guilty to). Crazy to think that the rapper was opening for the pop group! LOLz!

So, what was Lance’s issue with him?? He obviously couldn’t have known about any of the “freak off” stuff then. Heck, we don’t even know when it began! Though the photos we’ve seen of his late ’90s White Parties do look a little suspect…
But no, this is about something completely different. Apparently, the hip hop star was behind Justin Timberlake‘s exit! Lance recalled:
“I never kind of liked him. The very last show [on the tour] … in Orlando, I overheard him talking to Justin and being like, ‘You need to drop these f-ers. You need to go solo. You need to drop [them].’ I was like, ‘I don’t like you anymore, Diddy,’ I know, I’m like, ‘At my own show? What the hell!'”
Damn!
That’s a pretty good reason to dislike him, especially considering that WAS the band’s last tour. JT embarked on his solo career that same year. Oof! Diddy may actually have been behind the end of the boy band!
The good news is after a more than 20-year hiatus, the group released their first song together again last year — and a more official reunion is in the works! Lance teased:
“I mean, look. I can finally say we’re in talks right now. We’re actually talking. With the Trolls and the Deadpool movie, it is just, it’s really a fever pitch right now. We’d be stupid not to do something. […] Just hold your breath just a little longer. It’s gonna take a little time, but I think something’s coming.”
Take that, Diddy! LMFAO!
