Kimberly and Lexi Smiley have been granted an extension by LeAnn Rimes‘ lawyer so they can find proper representation, but the defendants may have just gotten another lucky break too.
There is apparently a secret witness out there that was close enough to Rimes to receive text messages from her that could damage her case against the Smileys.
The witness claims the country singer actually asked her Twitter followers to send Brandi Glanville‘s supporters nasty messages!
One source who spoke to this anonymous person says:
├óΓé¼┼ôLeAnn would text her fans word-for-word texts of what to tweet to Brandi or (her detractors). They were wild accusations.”
The source adds that “those texts could play a big role in this suit” and we imagine they can only help the Smiley’s defense.
What are the chances that LeAnn’s lawsuit totally backfires?
