Well SOMEONE is going to have to pay the government on behalf of Lindsay Lohan, because girl doesn’t seem to have the funds to pay her past taxes OR her own staffers, let alone a GIFT tax on fancy schmancy furniture she’s not even using!
Even though Lilo received a FREE home makeover for her El Lay french-style mansion-cottage on Bravo’s Million Dollar Decorators, she decided not to show up for the reveal episode of the show…
Thus Bravo is NOT going to cover the gift tax that comes with all purchases involved in Lindsay’s home renovation.
One insider dished:
“Producers had planned on paying the luxury gift tax on the furniture that was given to Lindsay for her Beverly Hills rental house. Lindsay was given $250,000 of beautiful furniture, but when she failed to agree to appear on Million Dollar Decorator for the big reveal of the work that was done on her rental house, the producers decided they weren├óΓé¼Γäót going to pay the taxes. Lindsay will probably have to pay between $25,000 and $50,000 in taxes on the furniture.”
And Lilo’s money-waters get a little bit deeper!
It seems obvious to us that if Lindsay doesn’t get work SOON, she will be DROWNING in debt, and we’re wondering what kind of flotation devices she’s got readily available…
We’re not even sure Mr. Sheen has a lifeboat big enough for all that baggage!
