Roz was almost Phoebe? (Or vice versa??)
Yep, even before Friends Lisa Kudrow was already on NBC‘s radar. She was cast as Roz on Frasier until producers didn’t think it was working out right in rehearsals on the first episode.
Gotta say, they were right! Peri Gilpin owned that role as much as Lisa did Phoebe!
So who would have been Phoebe Buffay if that had happened?? One rumored contender was Jane Krakowski from 30 Rock and The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.
Hard to imagine, right? Just wait until you see who the first choice for Joey from Dawson’s Creek, Coach Taylor from Friday Night Lights, Catelyn from Game Of Thrones, and Piper from Orange is the New Black!
