During his horrendous and lackluster attempt at a national apology last Friday, Tiger Woods reminded the world that he is a spiritual man, a Buddhist to be exact.
Well, Buddhism isn’t so happy to have him apart of their party and even the Dalai Lama has an opinion on the sex-crazed golf star. The Tibetan spiritual leader said that one of Buddhism’s highest values is self-discipline, something Tiger clearly needs to work on. The Dalai Lama said when it comes to adultery, “all religions have the same idea.” He continued to say:
“I think mainly whether you call it Buddhism or another religion, self-discipline, that’s important. Self-discipline with awareness of consequences.”
Oh, not to worry sir. Tiger is becoming infinitely aware of the consequences of his actions and we don’t see an end in sight for him.
