Lori Loughlin's Lawyer Is Getting Her Ready For Court With 'Grueling' Prep Sessions

Instead of preparing for the holiday season, Lori Loughlin is prepping for her next day in court.

Per Us Weekly sources, the former Fuller House star is getting ready to take the stand, and has been undergoing “grueling” sessions with her legal team in order to do so.

The insider revealed (below):

“Lori has been meeting with her lawyers for days at a time. It’s her full-time job and she is very involved with her defense. When not at her lawyer’s office, Lori is emailing and texting with the team.”

Sounds intense!!

The confidant added:

“Her lawyer plays the prosecutor, grilling her.”

Apparently, the 55-year-old is aware of the risk she’s taking by choosing to testify, but wants the chance to defend herself. The source chimed in:

“She’s adamant about it.”

So, where do those in her inner circle stand while she undergoes all these preparations? Apparently, she’s pushing them far away!

As we previously reported, a source shared with ET that the mother of two is “terrified” and seems to be struggling with who she can trust:

“She is breaking down. She truly feels at her very worst. People are coming out in support of her lately but she is afraid to open up. She’s concerned if she talks to the wrong people that her opinions will get out and somehow affect the case.”

Regardless, she’s still getting some support from those still in her corner:

“Lori has always been an upstanding citizen, a loving mother and a gracious, wonderful friend. Those closest to her are devastated because she has been a good person to them and know she could be facing jail time because of very poor judgement. Her friends are supporting her and keep reminding her if she does time behind bars she will get through this.”

But where does husband Mossimo Giannulli fit into what’s going on? As you’ll recall, their legal team is due back in court on January 17, 2020 for another preliminary hearing for the trial, though the couple likely won’t be present.

The 56-year-old f ashion designer was spotted with his guard down and a polo on for a round of golf in Toluca Lake, California over the weekend, seemingly without a care in the world! Though we can imagine his ongoing battle was far from mind…
