So so sad! Lucas Coppini, a 19-year-old model signed with Wilhemina Models, passed away early Friday morning after being in a coma for two weeks following a car accident on June 2nd.
He was best known for scoring spots in Givenchy’s runway shows time and time again at his young age, which had even creative director Ricardo Tisci sharing his condolences on Instagram:
“REST in PEACE LUCA #peace #love”

Wilhemina Models also released a statement:
“Today, we have lost a valued member of the Wilhelmina family.
Lucas Coppini has passed away from complications after an unfortunate car accident in Brazil.
Our grief and confusion at this time are little compared to what Lucas’ family must be feeling.
Our hearts and prayers go out to them, his friends and anyone that knew his jovial spirit.
Rest in Peace.”
