Madonna Takes Shots At Her Son In Latest 'Quarantine Diary' Video & It's A Mood -- Watch!

Madonna shares new quarantine diaries video

Meanwhile, at Madonna’s house…

The superstar singer took to Instagram on Thursday to post another entry to her “quarantine diary,” which sees her channeling her inner Carrie Bradshaw as she sits at a typewriter in a dark room and muses about the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.

In the latest entry (#9, for those keeping track), Madge calls out her son and claims she’s “lost three friends in the past 24 hours.”

She begins:

“We can’t always have a good day. The burning spear makes its way into the core of me and slithers down my leg, and I can concentrate on nothing except the idea of a fix, and I wonder what form that will take.”

The Ray of Light singer then shares the tragic news, though it’s unclear whether her friends died of COVID-19.

One of the pals she mentions, dance music exec Orlando Puerta, did pass away from an “upper respiratory infection,” according to DailyMail.com, but the results of his COVID-19 tests have yet to be revealed. The other deceased friends of Madge’s are her “cousin” and her “security guard’s brother.”

Later, the Pop Queen admits that quarantining with her son is starting to take its toll, sharing:

“If my son says I have a broken hip one more time I might implode… If someone says you’re broken so many times a day, you do start to feel that way.”

It’s unclear which of her sons — 19-year-old Rocco Ritchie or 14-year-old David Banda Mwale Ciccone Ritchie — she’s referring to.

At one point, the video cuts to black and white footage of the Grammy winner holding an abstract sculpture. She tells viewers:

“This is me right now, okay. This is how I feel every day. This is how I sleep every night, this is how I take a bath, this is how I exercise. This is how I live right now, in case you were interested.”

Same, gurl.

The 61-year-old’s previous “quarantine videos” have shown her naked in a bathtub while describing the deadly virus as “the great equalizer.” While instrumental music played in the background, she said:

“That’s the thing about COVID-19. It doesn’t care about how rich you are, how famous you are, how funny you are. How smart you are, where you live, how old you are, what amazing stories you can tell. It’s the great equalizer and what’s terrible about is it what’s great about it. What’s terrible about it is that it’s made us all equal in many ways and what’s wonderful about is, is that it’s made us all equal in many ways.”

Naturally, critics pointed out that the superstar, who has a net worth of almost $600 million, is far from “equal” to many of those who have lost their jobs due to the pandemic. At the same time, we can’t say that Madonna-in-quarantine isn’t a total lockdown mood. Ch-ch-check out her latest video (below).
