Aunt To-May??
Yep! According to the latest reports, Marisa Tomei will play Peter Parker’s Aunt May in the next Spider-Man movie!
Sources say the In The Bedroom star was straight-up offered the role late last week, and all that’s left is the numbers.
And speaking of numbers, at 50 years old, Marisa will be the youngest woman by far to play Aunt May, who in comics has been elderly since the 60s.

Rosemary Harris originated the part in 2002’s Spider-Man at the age of 75. Sally Field was 66 when she took over the role in Amazing Spider-Man.
Hmm, we don’t know about this…
Don’t get us wrong, we love Marisa Tomei as much as George Costanza does. We’ll even defend her Oscar win.
And we know Sony and Marvel intend to go younger with Spidey, but WOW. If this trend continues, the next Aunt May will be a millennial!
