Martha Stewart, who met Jessica Simpson and her missing pooch, Daisy on the set of their Macy’s commercial, has some advice for the singer.
“Get another dog. I think it’s very important to get another dog, someone else to love. You just have to find the dog that’s the right match for you.”
Martha also lost a furry friend earlier this year when her Chow puppy, Ghengis Khan, was killed in a freak propane explosion at a kennel.
Stewart also said of Jess losing Daisy:
“It’s pretty sad. She should have watched it more closely, though. She should have been more careful.”
As for Jessica, she’s still pulling out all the stops enlisting a dog-finding service and putting naysayers down on her Twitter:
“Still holding out hope despite the assholes that say is it a dumb thing to do. Daisy is my baby … why would I stop searching? I’m a mom.“
We hate to say it because we do feel bad about Daisy, but if the pooch got taken by a coyote, the odds are against Jess.
