Well now we’ve learned that one actor who successfully landed a pretty big role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe auditioned FOUR times for an unknown role in The Force Awakens!
A passionate fan of Sebastian Stan‘s took to Instagram to show the comparison between Mark Hamill and Stan — prompting the Captain America: Civil War star to confirm his auditions, saying:
sooo.. this stuff gets around a lot and I’m??? I can’t even explain it. I spent years supporting him, damn you should’ve seen me last year when philly con happened. Couldn’t believe that someone could be SO good to people. So, I still can’t believe it happened. He came out of nowhere and really made my day, so everytime I’m mad now.. I just can look at this and think about how one of the people who really made me change my life actually paid attention to me for a minute, to answer somethig that also means a lot to me. I will always support him, and hope that one day people are finally going to see how much potential he has. I mean, we already have him as bucky. While we absolutely LOVED Adam Driver, John Boyega, and Oscar Isaac, we definitely could have seen the Winter Soldier joining the Star Wars universe! Maybe as a storm trooper…
