The two superhero teams are on a set course for collision when Marvel reveals the 12 issue comic book series in April.
Marvel will be using Google+ to allow fans to discuss the comics. Twitter and the hashtag #AvX will also be employed for online users to post on their favorite topics.
The writers will also create two prologues before the main series.
The prologues’ focuses will be the Scarlet Witch and Hope Summers.
Scarlet Witch depowered almost the entire mutant population when she went crazy in her last appearance.
Hope Summers is the first mutant born after the incident.
Hope (aptly named) will be targeted by both super teams. The X-Men want to protect her. The Avengers wants to make she doesn’t fall under the control of Phoenix.
With their teams in shambles, Cyclops and Captain America will have to reassemble their teams as well as butt heads.
Things are about to get ugly!
