Megan Fox is in a difficult spot.
If you’ve been keeping up, you’ll know the Jennifer’s Body actress and her relationship with fiancé Machine Gun Kelly has been less than smoothe as of late… It all started last week when the 36-year-old posted a cryptic video of herself burning an envelope, which she captioned with Beyoncé’s famous 2016 lyrics, “You can taste the dishonesty / it’s all over your breath.”
Fans immediately started assuming things, with one even commenting that MGK, whose real name is Colson Baker, cheated on Fox with his guitarist, Sophie Lloyd. The Transformers star didn’t exactly help the situation, as she responded to the fan, “maybe I got with Sophie,” leading many to believe she subtly confirmed some form of infidelity had taken place in their relationship.

Soon after, the mother of three deactivated her Instagram all together, for what seemed like a much needed social media break. She then returned on Sunday, denying there was any “third party interference” in her relationship, urging fans to:
“Let this story die and leave all of these innocent people alone.”
She also publicly squashed any rumors that Sophie had been involved with MGK, commenting on a Saturday post of the musician’s:
“How me making a joke in order to absolve this girl of a hurtful accusation somehow turned into a confirmation of it – I will never understand. Why are people so…so dumb. Sophie you are insanely talented.”
It seemed like things were finally getting back on track after a less than desirable week — but apparently, that might not be the case…
A source close to the couple told People Monday night that the two are “still not in a good place.” They added:
“[Megan’s] now posted that there was no cheating, but she initially thought there was and now is backtracking a bit. She was definitely hinting at infidelity with her first post. She regrets making it all so public, but was really upset in the moment.”

Yeah, a good rule of thumb to practice is to not act on raised emotions — especially when you’re a celeb with millions of fans watching! The source continued:
“Their relationship is crazy and intense, yet it wouldn’t be shocking if they were back together completely by the end of the week.”
Yikes… Something about that just doesn’t necessarily scream that the two are in a healthy union. But as you know, they’ve been spotted in couple’s therapy, so it seems they’re aware and are trying to work on things! We’ll just have to see how everything continues to play out.
