Meghan Markle Has Ties To Journalist Who Wrote Controversial Kate Middleton Profile -- DETAILS

meghan markle reportedly linked to tatler journalist at center of kate middleton lawsuit

This isn’t a good look for Meghan Markle

As we previously shared, a profile in Tatler about Kate Middleton being “trapped and exhausted” due to Megxit ruffled some royal feathers, and was later dismissed as being filled with “inaccuracies” by Kensington Palace. Legal action is now potentially being taken against the mag, but digging deeper has revealed a personal connection between Meg and the journalist behind the article in question.

According to The Sun, writer Anna Pasternak is friends with former Tatler journalist Vanessa Mulroney, sister-in-law to Markle’s longtime BFF, Jessica Mulroney.

While there’s no direct proof of any foul play on Meg’s part, one source shared about the connection with The Sun:

“Pasternak is sticking to her story and saying her sources are good. She is very well connected in the US. She is friends with Vanessa Mulroney who used to work at Tatler and now lives in Canada. And Vanessa’s sister-in-law Jessica is Meghan’s best friend. It’s intriguing.”

Jess and Meg have been close for years, since meeting through their respective styling work and acting role on Suits, which filmed in Canada. They have maintained a close bond over the years, even after the now-Duchess of Sussex relocated to the UK to be closer to Prince Harry.

The insider continued:

“Pasternak’s article caused immense unnecessary pain for Kate and its central claim that she felt trapped and unhappy was wildly untrue.”

As for the potential legal battle which could go down between Kate and Tatler, it was previously made clear via a statement (below) that they are backing Pasternak:

Tatler‘s Editor-in-Chief Richard Dennen stands behind the reporting of Anna Pasternak and her sources. Kensington Palace knew we were running the ‘Catherine the Great’ cover months ago and we asked them to work together on it. The fact they are denying they ever knew is categorically false.”

Lawyers for Kate and Prince William have sent a letter to the Condé Nast-owned glossy, requesting that the article be pulled from the web. The Mail on Sunday (yes, the same one at the center of Meghan’s ongoing lawsuit) broke the legal correspondence story. On Monday, Tatler confirmed it had received letters from the royal lawyers.

Maybe matching lawsuits against the press will bring Meg and Kate closer together… What’s your take on this, Perezcious readers? Let us know (below) in the comments!
