Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are “considering their options.”
Now that the news has broken that the couple will be stepping down from senior royal duties and splitting their time between the U.K. and the U.S., a new wave of speculation as to what they’ll be doing is here as well.

Per Tom Bradby —who made the emotional documentary Harry & Meghan: An African Journey where we heard from the pair in their own words about recent hardships — there is “a lot going on within the royal family.”
The author and journalist appeared on Good Morning Britain on Wednesday morning to promote his new book, but the Duke and Duchess of Sussex weren’t far from mind:
“I think the truth is there is a lot going on, a lot going on within the royal family and, I don’t know, and I don’t think they know what their future is going to be and what their position is going to be.”
As you may recall, it’s been rumored for some time that Archie Harrison’s mum and dad could take on a second residence in California or even Canada, and given what a great trip they had up north, we aren’t surprised by Wednesday’s announcement.
The two were all smiles on Tuesday morning for their first official day back at work when they paid a visit to Canada House — home to Janice Charette, the High Commission of Canada to the U.K. — to show their appreciation for their pleasant visit.
At the time of his appearance, the news had not yet broken from @sussexroyal, but it’s very telling of what’s to come. Bradby continued:
“It’s no big secret in their friends that they have been considering their options in the future. I don’t ask what their plans are. They keep that pretty close to their chest and understandably so. I don’t think it’s a done deal, that would be my impression. I think there’s a lot of talking to be done, there are a million possibilities, they could go to Canada.”
So, what could Prince William and Kate Middleton be thinking about the dynamic duo flying the coop? Considering the “disputes” which have occurred between the brothers in recent months, it may be for the best:
“There are lots of people, who would love there to be, including I think the brothers themselves, love them to be closer again. And with any luck that will happen. But with families, we all know stuff happens, things are said.”
Bradby added:
“And also a family dispute within a family firm. You are working in a big family firm, everyone has their wishes and desires and ambitions and it they have to be balanced up and it’s very hard.”
