During Monday night’s Republican National Convention, Melania Trump delivered an eloquent speech that really seemed like it came from a First Lady — because it already did!
Donald Trump‘s wife faced major criticism after viewers noticed her speech had striking similarities to a speech that Michelle Obama gave at the Democratic National Convention back in 2008!
While Trump’s camp released a statement saying Melania’s speech was not plagiarized, but full of “common words and values,” Twitter stood firm that the only thing Miz Trump’s speech was full of was bullsh*t!

This consensus was reaffirmed on social media when the hashtag #FamousMelaniaTrumpQuotes shortly after started trending.
Actor and activist Jesse Williams started the hashtag and jokingly quoted Sojourner Truth‘s famous Ain’t I A Woman speech to The Donald’s wife.
