Saturday Night Live kept with their trend this year of cold opens, and this one was Super Bowl themed.
The halftime show got a fancy update, complete with third-time host Melissa McCarthy as Momma Pass!
Honestly, we would be TOTALLY okay if this was a part of the real halftime show! In addition to Bruno Mars and Red Hot Chili Peppers of course!
Then, for her opening monologue, Melissa and Bobby Moynihan had an aerial battle !
It’s incredible!
