Is it over already for Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson?!
So says one insider, according to a new RadarOnline.com report which contends the pair has “taken a step back from their wild, whirlwind relationship.”
That’s big news, if true, considering how much of a public stance the new couple has taken on social media since pretty much back on day one of their fling when it began back at the start of last month.

According to the bombshell report, the insider claims the 26-year-old pop star has “finally decided to take some time for herself” following her high-profile divorce from Liam Hemsworth over the summer. That means things with Simpson are already over after just over a month, if the report is to be believed.
The insider claimed (below):
“They are taking a break, but want to remain friends. She said she just needs to focus on herself.”
Hmmm… could it be plausible? We can’t say for sure as Miley hasn’t yet put out a statement on behalf of them both, as has been her usual tactic.
And yet… the Slide Away singer also hasn’t mentioned Simpson on social media or snapped a pic of the Australian pop star for the ‘gram in about two weeks’ time. And Cody hasn’t mentioned or posted about his fiery flame in about ten days.
That fact alone doesn’t mean these two have broken up, of course, but these two have been remarkably public about their relationship on social media pretty much since the very beginning, so it is a little weird for them to suddenly go radio silent… right??
A Crazy Couple Months!
To say it’s been a crazy couple months in Miley’s world continues to be an understatement;
Just this week, the Wrecking Ball singer was the subject of some low-key shade from Liam and his new girlfriend, just days after the former Disney Channel star cut all social media ties with Liam and her other 2019 ex, Kaitlynn Carter.

That’s only the tip of the iceberg for the former Hannah Montana star, though, who has cut off a ten-year relationship, enjoyed a same-sex summer fling, and hooked up (and now maybe split up?) with Cody all in the span of three months.
Seriously, the split with Liam was August 11! Can you believe it??
