Spectre starlet Monica Bellucci snagged the September cover of Marie Claire Mexico — and she did not disappoint!
As you can see in the EXCLUSIVE first look, the 50-year-old is totally channeling her inner Bond girl, looking sultry in a metallic reptile-print jacket, cutout shirt, and sexy skirt.

On becoming the first “Bond Lady”: “I am very happy to be part of Spectre with Daniel Craig, who’s such an amazing actor. It was never really a dream of mine to become a “Bond Girl”. If it came to me before I would have been really excited because Bond movies are legendary, but at 50 it’s the best compliment to be the first “Bond Lady”. It was so unexpected and I am grateful to the great director Sam Mendes for proposing it to me.”
On the changing perception of mature women in the media: “Human life expectancy has considerably increased, compared to past generations. Today, 50-year-old women and men are different than before. This is particularly evident in advertising. More and more, we’re getting used to see mature women still looking beautiful and attractive. But it’s not all about the outside, at 50 we realize that our life is precious, that we still have projects and we focus more on the essential things: serenity, happiness and well-being.”
On having regrets: “I don’t recall a crucial sacrifice. The only thing I know is that I’ve always worked hard. Nothing comes easy, life has its challenges and temptations. You can always ask for more. Will you get it? That’s uncertain. I consider myself a very down to earth person and I would never sacrifice anything valuable for work. Things come when they’re meant to come and the best example for me is this James Bond movie.”
On putting motherhood on hold until 39: “I guess I do everything late: first kid at 39, Bond movie at 50… I just think it was the right timing for me. I don’t consider myself a role model in that sense because there are always risks, but I had the chance to be under the care of great physicians and I was very vigilant. Having my daughters is really the best thing I have ever accomplished. I experienced the real essence of life. Late motherhood makes you see things in a completely different way and health becomes the biggest treasure.”
