Thankfully, no one was hurt!
Morgan Freeman was the only passenger on a private plane taking off out of Mississippi on Saturday night, when hydraulic problems started causing trouble for the pilots.

After calling out a mayday to local airports, the crew was forced to make an emergency landing in Tunica, Mississippi, less than 40 miles from where the plane had initially taken off.
Once the plane descended to the airport in Tunica, though, a whole new set of problems popped up: the jet never stopped at the end of the runway!
Freeman’s jet careened past the runway, into a dirt field during the emergency landing, which is horrifying!
According to Freeman himself, the landing was a success, though:
“Sometimes things don’t go as planned and a tire blew on take-off which caused other problems. But thanks to my excellent pilot Jimmy Hobson we landed safely without a scratch. I cannot say the same about my plane.”
Yikes!!!
