Naomi Campbell Bobs Above All On The Edit

Naomi Campell does her thing on the cover and spread of The Edit!

Yup, the bob makes an appearance on the cover of the latest Edit issue!

Net-A-Porter’s online mag features Naomi Campbell in all her glory for a cover, interview, and spread that we can’t get enough of!!

In her shoot by Nico, Ms. Campbell plays the part of ultimate bad*ss rocker in leather pieces from Michael Kors, McQ Alexander McQueen, Karl Lagerfeld, Saint Laurent by Hedi Slimane, and Altuzarra.

Naomi also embodies a scantily clad business woman in a tweed number from Oscar de la Renta, does Maison Martin Margiela knits a favor by lending them her bod, and demonstrates that LBDs don’t have to be boring in a black Versus dress.

We almost thought her boobs wouldn’t make a cameo, but they finally peek out towards the end of her spread when the 43-year-old flashes some skin in a furry Gucci jacket wearing nothing underneath.

For her accompanying interview, the stunning supermodel and mentor opened up about The Face, her role on the Versace catwalk this year, her experience with photographers, and her own personal mentor.

Here are the HIGHlights:

On The Face:
“We’re filming the show in my home country, so I want it to be better than amazing. London’s always been a place where great new talent emerges, and home is where you are judged the most. I like the mentoring aspect, as opposed to sitting in my chair and judging someone. It’s really rewarding to see the models transformed and it makes me feel like I’m doing something right. Whether my model wins or not, she will have learned and we will have helped her – that’s really why I came on the show. It’s very important to have a personality; it’s not just about a pretty face any more. The model who wins The Face will work for a huge brand. She has to be able to go to stores and speak about the product.”

On walking for Versace after 14 years:
“I was quite stunned at the reaction – I remember the room being quiet and I thought, ’Oh my God, they don’t want me here!’ It was emotional for me to do the show after 14 years. I knew about it for months and couldn’t tell anyone. When I did my fitting in those amazing clothes, it was just overwhelming.”

On working with different photographers:
“I learned something from each and every one I worked with; their different styles and ways of how they wanted you to be. First and foremost I want to get the job done.”

On her first and best mentor:
“My mum is one of my main mentors. She always gave me the best advice.”

Awww, so many role models giving credit to their loving moms!!

Loves it!!
