Wonder Woman Gets A Daddy!

The Amazon warrior princess will be getting a famous daddy soon!
Wonder Woman, one of comics’ great heroines, will be given a new origin story as DC Comics continues to reboot its heroes.
In the reboot, Princess Diana will now have the almighty Greek god, Zeus as her father. In the past, Diana was said to be crafted out of clay and her mother, Queen Hippolyta raised her on her own.
This new revelation will be a shocker not only to Wonder Woman but also to the Amazons as a whole. To say Wonder Woman and her clan are not very guy friendly is an understatement.
A BIG understatement.
The new comic will also feature a heavy dose of Greek mythology as the comic will explore Wonder Woman’s new kin folk.
While the comic world has been kind to Wonder Woman, every other source of media has not.
The superheroine continues to struggle to get her own show or movie like her other DC heros, Batman and Superman. The short lived late 70’s TV show starring Lynda Carter was the closest to success.
Others no so much.
Friday Night Lights actress Adrianne Palicki‘s Wonder Woman pilot wasn’t picked up and a Wonder Woman film has been in development hell for years.
Hopefully, this will be a step in the right direction. We need some powerful ladies on the big and small screens!
