UPDATE 12:18 P.M. EST: Never mind. Nicki took to Twitter after news of the alleged collab broke to say she was just kidding. She shared:
So much for retirement: Nicki Minaj has been busy lately!
During an interview with Entertainment Tonight on Tuesday, the Megatron rapper revealed she’s got a new song coming out with Adele! After being asked if she and the British songstress were working on anything, or even considering collaborating in the near future, she exclaimed:
“Yes and yes, yes and yes, wooo hoo!”

The 36-year-old realized was unable to control her excitement as she dished more details about the track. Speaking to ET‘s Keltie Knight, she said:
“But Adele made me swear to secrecy that I’m not allowed to tell anyone that I’m working with her. And that we already shot a video. And it’s an epic song! Ahh!”
Dayum! How long was she holding on to that secret for? Was this impromptu reveal even part of the plan? LOLz.
Nevertheless, we are SO pumped about all of this, but dare we say Adele might be more excited than all of us?! Do y’all remember when she SLAYED a flawless rendition of Minaj’s Monster verse at a club in El Lay back in June? And put her ridiculous skills on the mic to the test?
Yep, we can’t forget it either!
While Minaj didn’t share any specifics on the pair’s record, the collaboration could likely be part of the 21 crooner’s highly-anticipated fourth studio album.
In the meantime, we can also expect another hit from Nicki coming out soon on the Charlie’s Angels soundtrack as the outlet reports she teamed up with pop powerhouses Ariana Grande and Normani for their tune, Bad To You. Did we mention the entertainer shared all of this at the launch celebration for her new fashion collection called Fendi Prints On?

In addition to all of the music news, the soon-to-be bride shared details about her upcoming nuptials to Kenneth Petty. She dished:
“We got the marriage license, now I just have to wait until my pastor that I love comes and does it for us. The big wedding and all that stuff, that will happen, but just not at this moment.”
As we wrote back in August, the Chun-Li rapper and her fiancé obtained a marriage license for the second time and pledged to get married within 80 days.
While Nicki noted she has a “dope designer” for her wedding gown and is “really excited” to say “I Do,” she isn’t getting caught up in all of the nitty-gritty details of planning the big day. She spilled:
“When I was little, I always imagined princess and marriage and the wedding and now it’s more to me about the life, the future, the love, the partnership, than the wedding. [It’s] so strange cause I didn’t expect myself to be one of those people who didn’t care about the hoopla, but I really don’t.”
The New Yorker continued:
“… I just kind of feel like it doesn’t mean as much as it used to mean because the other part, the real part, I have it now and I’m so happy.”
Ahh — spoken like a lady in true love!
Miz Minaj may not be interested in prepping her walk down the aisle, but she and her man are already hard at work on the next step in their relationship: making babies!
Speaking on the couple’s desire to start a family someday, she added:
“We practice all the time, like, you know, three times a night… At first I was like, ‘I want it now. I want it now.’ And then I started thinking if I want it right, right now or if I want to wait another year because I have a couple things that I have to do.”
One thing at a time, gurl!
