Nicki Minaj & Ex-Con Kenneth Petty Tie The Knot!

Nicki Minaj and Kenneth Petty are married

Nicki Minaj seems to be officially married!

The rapper and her ex-con fiancé Kenneth Petty revealed back in August how they already obtained a marriage license, meaning they had just 80 days left to get hitched! So, it sounds like they finally did the damn thing on Monday!

Minaj, ahem Miz Petty, took to Instagram yesterday with a video showing off their “Mrs.” and “Mr.” mugs, along with hats embroidered with “Bride” and “Groom.”

But it was the caption stating her new married name which made it pretty obvious:

“???????? Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty 10•21•19”

Many celebs came through in the comments to congratulate the newlyweds on the exciting news and clearly showed their support despite Petty’s controversial past.

Christina Aguilera posted, “Congrats queen! ?❤️,” while Winnie Harlow wrote:

“So happy for you Mrs.Bride you deserve all the happiness in the world ????”

La La Anthony echoed those sentiments, sharing:

“Congrats Nick‼️‼️u did it ???❤️”

Kimora Lee Simmons added, “Congrats to you both!❤️❤️??⭐️?,” as Naomi Cambell commented:

“Congratulations to you both on your beautiful Union ♥️♥️??”

Just recently, the Anaconda artist shared details about her upcoming nuptials to the registered sex offender. She dished:

“We got the marriage license, now I just have to wait until my pastor that I love comes and does it for us. The big wedding and all that stuff, that will happen, but just not at this moment.”

While Nicki spilled she has a “dope designer” for her wedding gown and is “really excited” to say “I Do,” she’s ignoring the “hoopla,” and ready to start her future with her love:

“When I was little, I always imagined princess and marriage and the wedding and now it’s more to me about the life, the future, the love, the partnership, than the wedding. [It’s] so strange cause I didn’t expect myself to be one of those people who didn’t care about the hoopla, but I really don’t.”

The Queens native continued:

“… I just kind of feel like it doesn’t mean as much as it used to mean because the other part, the real part, I have it now and I’m so happy.”

After only making their relationship IG official in December 2018, it sounds like the star couldn’t wait to take this next step with her man!

And it appears there’s still a big wedding to come, most likely with celeb attendees, but for now, they can at least call each other “hubby” and “wifey”!
