Nicki Minaj tells all!
We’d been wondering lately about the gorgeous gal’s relationship with Meek Mill, considering one second he was partying with strippers, and the next they were taking sweet Snapchat selfies during his house arrest.
Not to mention, she had us ALL fooled into thinking they were engaged last year — to be fair, there was a massive rock on THAT finger.

So, we’re glad the regal rapper is dishing to Nylon magazine all about her romance with the 28-year-old.
She spilled to the popular publication:
“I’m not engaged yet. He said that my third ring would be my engagement ring. But sometimes he calls me his fianc├â┬⌐e, and I’m always trying to stop him, like, ‘Nope! I ain’t got that third ring yet!’ We’re just taking it one step at a time. And, you know, if that happens, if I get married, then I’ll have a child, and that’ll be fun, because I can’t wait to hold my baby.”
Awwwww!
We think they’d make a pretty cute famous family, don’t you think?! Plus, we LOVE that the hitmaker is totally in touch with her maternal instincts!
In fact, she shared it’s why her beau was drawn to her in the first place:
“When he and I were just friends, he would always say, ‘You remind me of my mother, and I like that because you’re like a dude. You’re tough like a guy and you talk like a dude.’ So I always got the sense that me being tough and bossy was a turn-on for him. And it’s important for me to keep my voice. Being in a relationship shouldn’t mean that you lose your voice. Being in a relationship should mean that you’ve met a secure-enough man to allow you, in a sense, to remain a queen.”
And while the 33-year-old seems pretty satisfied with her main man right now, she’s also content with where her music career is.
It’s been a little over a year since her last album dropped, and it seems like she’s actually taking a hiatus from recording to focus on her other passion:
“Musically, I feel very fulfilled, and now I can start tapping into my acting world, where it’s about passion and not about the money. It’s wanting to be what I set out to be when I was in high school: an actress.”
The fierce female also admitted she wasn’t in the best headspace when she released her last record — courtesy of her breakup with Safaree Samuels — and wants to be in a good place, mentally, before she starts writing again, adding:
“I needed time to hear myself think again because where I left off with The Pinkprint was a little bit emotionally unstable. I wanted to take a moment to just live my life, enjoy my life, have fun, go out. I think that’s very important before you start writing again. It’s a spiritual experience for the people who are hearing the music, so I’m trying to be very careful of what mental space I’m in while I’m creating it. Now, I want my happiness to be reflected in the new stuff.”
Well, whenever Miz M decides to put out new music or finally take that next step with Meek, we’ll be ready!
