The actress brought her signature smolder to the shoot, all while dressed in different lingerie, like the Illisa slip and Dolce & Gabbana bodysuit above.
Of course, it’s not just the editorial that’s worthy of your attention, but her accompanying interview conducted by Empire creator, Lee Daniels!
And if you can believe it, the two teased a possible upcoming cameo from the actress. Lee shared, “I want you on my set,” to which Nicole replied, “You promised me I would be there one day.”
Gahh! Would she go up against Cookie?? We can’t wait to find out!!
Nic also reminisced about when she knew she wanted to become an actor, saying:
“Before I got a job, I would catch the bus and go to a theater on a Saturday morning and do classes instead of going to the beach or playing. It was completely self-motivated. My father was a biochemist and my mom was a nurse educator, and they were like, ‘Who is this black sheep of the family?’ At that age, I was seeking it out. And I was looking for kindred spirits.”
Well, look at her now!
Though one would think with how much experience the starlet has under her belt, nothing would terrify her! But speaking of her role in Photograph 51, she confessed:
“Well, I’m over here on this play and I’m ter- rified├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥terrified and exhilarated because I’ve got to make this incredibly acerbic, prickly woman real and vulner- able. You’ve got to feel her motivation. You’ve got to understand her. I’ve got to make that work. And there’s no interval. It’s a 95-minute play. And I haven’t done that for 17 years. It’s a whole different ballgame.”
She’s slaying it!!
