Oscar-winner Octavia Spencer thought she signed a weight loss endorsement deal with Sensa worth $1.25 million. But now it’ll be the scales of justice that determine how much money she’s really going to make!
The Help actress is SUING the company for allegedly not paying her the the cash they’d initially agreed upon!
Why?
Because Sensa says Octavia didn’t promote their product the way they wanted her to! According to them, Miz Spencer posted six unapproved tweets on Twitter about their diet aid, including the hash tag #spon, which signifies that her message was sponsored.
They also claim that Octavia had an obligation to do “before” and “after” photos but failed to deliver on a marketable side-by-side shot.
Octavia’s lawyers are ready to fight for their client though!
Spencer’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, fired back at Sensa’s allegations, saying:
“Sensa is no stranger to creating a false reality. Ms. Spencer looks forward to presenting the true facts at trial├óΓé¼┬¥.
We smell a showdown!
Word of advice for the Sensa reps: if Octavia bakes you a pie, you probably don’t want to eat it!
