Over the weekend, rumors started circling the web that everyone’s favorite boy band, One Direction, was going to be taking a hiatus next March!
Well, on Monday, Niall Horan finally took to Twitter to clear the air.
So??? Are the rumors true? Turns out the answer is… yes AND no.

The 21-year-old wanted to make it abundantly clear that the British boys will NOT be breaking up. However, they WILL be taking a break next year:
Ok so Lots of rumours going round. We are not splitting up, but we will be taking a well earned break at some point next year

But for the Directioners who are not satisfied with that answer, never fear! Niall says they’re not finished as a pop powerhouse!

Well that’s a relief, but we can’t help wondering whether or not the boys will tour a fifth album.
