The talk show queen is ready to gain more viewers and take some names!
Oprah’s network OWN has announced today that they’ve decided to bring some new shows to the network!
FOUR new unscripted shows have been green lit, including: a show about 2 Staten Island proscutors, Elura and Michele Take Staten Island, a self help show, Iyanla Fix My Life, one about Alaskan army wives, Married to the Army: Alaska and Six Little McGhees, which follows a family with sextuplets!
There’s somethin’ for everybody in Oprahland!!!
President of OWN and O’s longtime producer, Sheri Salata said:
“We have solid momentum and are building the network with a strong mix of programs that connect and engage with our audience. The new series announced today are relevant shows with real stakes, real drama and a whole lot of heart.”
…that’s pretty much the perfect formula for a hit show!
But just because Oprah is in with the new, don’t think she├óΓé¼Γäós out with the old!
Oprah fans will be happy to hear that Oprah’s Master Class got renewed for a third season, as well as one of the network’s biggest hits, Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s!!
OWN will also premiere a game show this summer, Are You Normal, America?, which will be hosted by Barry Poznick and Kim Coles!!!
