If you’re planning to go on an airplane, and are thinking about taking your pet with you, think again if you’re flying Delta.
A new report by the U.S. Department of Transportation has released the Air Travel Consumer Report.
The report shows that 35 animals died in-flight while in the checked baggage cargo hold.
And 19 of those 35 were on a Delta flight!!
The second most deadly airline was American which had only 5.
A Delta spokesman explained that they carry more pets than other airlines, thus the higher numbers.
We think there is no excuse for any pet death during a flight.
