UPDATE 02/10/2024 3:45 P.M. PST: Sharon Osbourne has more to say to Kanye West! She took to X (Twitter) on Saturday to further blast the rapper for sampling one of her husband Ozzy Osbourne’s songs without permission, writing:
“Kanye West asked permission to sample part of a song Ozzy performed live at the US Festival in 1983 permission was denied, however, true to form he used it anyway . The Osbourne family have never wanted any association with Kanye West, He is an anti-Semitic fool who spews his rhetoric out into the world , Kanye you fucked with the wrong dude this time. Sincerely, Sharon Osbourne.”

Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne are PISSED at Kanye West right now!
Here is what happened! The 46-year-old rapper held a listening party for his upcoming album, Vultures, at the United Center in Chicago on Thursday night. When he played one of the tracks from the project, everyone realized it featured a sample from a Black Sabbath song. But according to Ozzy, he did not give Kanye permission to sample the tune! He noted Kanye included the track War Pigs. However, it seems the dad of four actually sampled Iron Man. Nevertheless, the rocker is very angry about the sample because he wants no association with Kanye due to his antisemitism!

He took to X (Twitter) to slam the Yeezy fashion designer in a since-deleted post! And yes, Ozzy made his rage very clear with the use of all caps! He wrote on Friday:
“@kanyewest ASKED PERMISSION TO SAMPLE A SECTION OF A 1983 LIVE PERFORMANCE OF ‘WAR PIG’ FROM THE US FESTIVAL WITHOUT VOCALS & WAS REFUSED PERMISSION BECAUSE HE IS AN ANTISEMITE AND HAS CAUSED UNTOLD HEARTACHE TO MANY. HE WENT AHEAD AND USED THE SAMPLE ANYWAY AT HIS ALBUM LISTENING PARTY LAST NIGHT. I WANT NO ASSOCIATION WITH THIS MAN!”
Good for Ozzy calling him out! And he’s not the only one blasting Kanye! Sharon — who was raised Jewish — told TMZ that the couple have given a cease and desist to the Heartless artist, adding:
“Kanye f***ed with the wrong Jew this time.”
Damn! The 71-year-old television personality went on to explain that someone from Ye’s team contacted them three weeks ago asking for permission to use the Black Sabbath song. However, Sharon and Ozzy said, “Absolutely not.” She pointed out her husband does not usually turn down anyone who asks to sample one of the band’s songs. However, Sharon said he had a “special f***ing occasion to say no” since Kanye “represents hate” and is a “disrespectful antisemite.” She added:
“The motherf***er’s a pig.”
And just in case no one understood her stance on the issue, Sharon took the beef with Kanye to Instagram, where she posted a video of Lionel Richie walking in on Dave Grohl playing his song Hello. Lionel says in the clip:
“Hello, Dave. We all have writer’s block, but that’s my f**king song. That’s my f**king song You understand what I’m saying? I like that song. No, no, no, I love that song. … Get your own song!”
Sharon then captioned the post:
“Welcome to the Carnival @kanyewest #permissionnotgranted #ironman”
