After a much needed hiatus from her tour to recover from a terrible case of laryngitis, Hayley Williams and her boys of Paramore are back to work!
Saturday night, the band took the stage at Chicago’s House of Blues, where everyone was on edge, wondering if poor Hayley was well enough to sing.
She was! Her voice held up beautifully, so we hear, and even made it through the following night in Detroit. In an “email interview” (doctor says no more phone interviews for awhile), she revealed she was very nervous, but is happy the rest paid off:
“It feels so good to be back out on the road. I’ve been waiting all year for this tour … so, the postponement made it that much worse. My voice is feeling great now, though, and the shows, so far ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ Chicago and Detroit ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ have been amazing.”
Wonderful! Here’s hoping the rest of the tour goes just as smoothly!
