Parents Television Council Pissed Steamy Scandal Sex Scene Came Only 26 Seconds After Charlie Brown Ended!!

If there’s one thing these parents want people to know: coming too quickly is bad. LOLz!
On October 30th, ABC aired It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown because it’s the best holiday special ever.
Right after the movie was the show Scandal and guess what… it created a scandal!
That’s because only 26 seconds after the Charlie Brown special ended, there was a steamy Kerry Washington sex scene.

That means if families were watching Charlie Brown, they had less than half-a-minute to change the channel before Kerry’s super hot sex assaulted their eyes.
This is what prompted the Parents Television Council to write an open letter to ABC, which read:

“Shame on ABC for putting a peep show next to a playground. In less than 26 seconds we were taken from the Peanuts pumpkin patch to a steamy Scandal sex scene. Twenty-six seconds, boom. Unless parents had the remote control in their hand, thumb on the button and aimed directly at the TV screen, they didn’t have a chance. Such a transition is grossly irresponsible by the network and entirely unfair for parents. ABC owes families an apology… the juxtaposition of a reliably classic family-friendly children’s cartoon special like the Great Pumpkin├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥a huge family draw every year for decades├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥with such a graphic bedroom scene is unjustifiable.”

It is pretty crazy how quickly it transitions from kids movie to sex scene but still, it’s TV, pretty late in the evening.
Isn’t that expected by now?? Are they overreacting?
Isn’t a parent’s job to just sit down and discuss things with kids when questions come up?
Check out the video (below) to see the quick transition and judge for yourself!
