King Charles III was given no other option but to evict Prince Harry and Meghan Markle — at least in the eyes of one royal expert.
In a new interview with Page Six on Wednesday, royal biographer Tom Bower opened up about the shocking news that the monarch evicted the Duke and Duchess of Sussex from Frogmore Cottage after the release of his son’s explosive tell-all Spare. Addressing the many allegations the former military officer let slip both in the book and during his press tour, Tom declared:
“Harry and Meghan provoked him [King Charles] with Harry’s disgraceful book and the interviews he gave.”
Harry really made the rounds in January to promote his best-seller, hitting up places like 60 Minutes and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, on which he made another surprise appearance on Tuesday night in a pre-taped segment! Not to mention the lovebird’s Netflix docuseries that premiered shortly before the book’s release. It’s been a lot for the royal family to process!

The insider then slammed the 38-year-old for naively believing he’d get his way with his estranged family (namely an apology from Prince William and Charles) after attacking them in the book, arguing:
“I mean what did he expect? Harry wanted the royal family to come on bended knee begging for forgiveness and he’s completely crossed the spectrum, he’s in the mad wilderness of deranged victimhood.”
Damn. This expert has NO sympathy for Harry!
As we’ve been following, His Majesty reportedly began the process of evicting his California-based relatives the day after Spare was released. He was clearly pissed AF at what Harry had to say in the book, which included many jabs at Charles, William, and their wives Queen Camilla and Princess Catherine, respectively.
Of course, the dramatic decision has also posed doubts about whether or not Harry and Meghan will make the trip to the UK for Charles’ coronation in May. There have been many sources insisting the 74-year-old wants his youngest in attendance — at least just to maintain a certain perception in the public eye — but Harry has demanded an apology first, and we all know that’s not coming, especially if he’s not allowed royal housing anymore!

That said, according to royal expert and reporter Omid Scobie, the “stunned” Archewell founders now have until “after the coronation” to officially pack their bags and go… so maybe this is Charles’ twisted way of encouraging them to attend his crowning? They would still have a place to stay during the ceremony and one last chance to say goodbye to Frogmore Cottage, which was a wedding gift from Queen Elizabeth II. Seems like a possibility, unless they’re too salty about the whole ordeal! We wouldn’t blame them, TBH!
On the other hand, plenty of folks wouldn’t mind if they skipped! Tom doesn’t think there’s much hope for a reunion — and he doesn’t care to see one regardless, saying:
“[The] Frogmore story shows that Harry has to have no role in the upcoming coronation and he’s not welcome.”
The Revenge: Meghan, Harry, and the War Between the Windsors author added:
“If he and god forbid she came then they’d be the focus of attention and all the attention should be on Charles.”
Oof!
No matter what they will decide to do, a rep for the couple did confirm to Page Six that they were asked to leave the abode. So, there’s no denying this happened! They are also reportedly in the process of shipping back some of their stuff.
As for what will happen with the property, it has been reported that Charles offered it to his disgraced brother, Prince Andrew, who is currently “resisting” the move out of his mansion, the Royal Lodge. Out with one messy couple and in with another problematic royal! Reactions, Perezcious readers? Do U think Harry and Meghan wanted to get kicked out?? Let us know (below)!
