It looks like Prince‘s legacy might live on forever in his Minnesota home.
According to court documents, the late legend‘s Paisley Park abode might end up as a museum to the artist’s iconic career.
Since the musician did not have a will, there were no specific plans for his massive mansion.

So, the administrator of his estate, Bremer Trust, is requesting to enlist experts “to provide advice and counsel on how to manage public tours of the grounds, facilities and buildings located at Paisley Park.”
Looks like Paisley Park might wind up like Elvis Presley‘s Graceland!
On Wednesday, Judge Kevin Eide granted the bank permission to secure the services of entertainment experts, and noted that the trust might have to “enter into longer-term contracts regarding, among other things, licensing and publishing of intellectual property and the management of tangible property including Paisley Park.”
Hmmmm. We’ll see if Paisley Park actually turns into a museum honoring the Purple Rain performer, considering the legal papers also revealed the estate could be in a bit of tax trouble:
“The Court recognized that the Estate will likely not be able to pay the entire tax obligation when it becomes due and some interest and, perhaps,some penalties, are likely before the entire tax obligation is paid.”
But, money issues aside, the court doesn’t want the estate’s settlement to be rushed, adding:
“As stated by all counsel ├óΓé¼┬ª the looming tax obligation is certainly a consideration but it should not push the parties, the Special Administrator and the Court into acting in a manner that is not legally sound, is not prudent, and is not in the best interest of the heir[s].”
This is still so messy!
