Huge Real Housewives News! NeNe Leakes Is Leaving!

Knew it was coming, but it’s still tough news to hear!
Real Housewives of Atlanta breakout star, NeNe Leakes is leaving the show that made her famous after filming season 5!
None of this has been officially announced, of course. But in a recent interview the reality diva turned New Normal actress dropped some puuurdy BIG hints.
NeNe told reporters:

“I love the acting world. So at some point. . . I can├óΓé¼Γäót continue to be a Housewife. At some point, I have to back out.”

But wait, you have to understand this…
She’s not quitting because she doesn’t have enough time to film the Bravo show!
Apparently the “actress” is worried that the her reality rep will tarnish her credibility as a serious actress. She explained that:

“Just the thought of me being a Housewife, they [casting producers] would probably say ‘Hmmm. We may not want to use her.’ Just the whole persona of being a Housewife. The cattiness and the bitchiness and the fighting. People see you as that is who you are.”

That IS true.
She made some really BIG waves on RHOA. We could see how someone would worry about her feuding, slightly outspoken TV persona before putting her on the show.
We want NeNe to pursue her dreams… but a part of us is hoping she has to go back to being a Housewife!!
We love you NeNe, but watching you be you on Bravo is one of our deepest purest joys!
It’s up there with Honey Boo Boo!
