After much teasing, Real Housewives of New York fans finally got to see the yacht trip dubbed the “boat ride from hell” on Wednesday.
The stars’ vacation to Cartegena, Colombia was seemingly turned upside down as their voyage back from a private island to the mainland went up in smoke. Literally.

Bethenny Frankel, Ramona Singer, Carole Radziwill, Luann de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, Dorinda Medley, and Tinsley Mortimer screamed for their lives on top of a lot of seasickness, vomiting, and peeing themselves.
While the crew had to stop filming for the “safety of everyone aboard,” the stars’ testimonies following really painted a vivid picture.
It really sounds like they skirted death here!
Luann explained:
“The boat was trying to reel in [the anchor] and that was causing the smell. So we’ve got the captain, who runs out of the cabin with two swords, a la Pirates of the Caribbean, and runs to the top of the boat and he cuts off the anchor.”
Tinsley was seemingly the only one unfazed by the dramatic trip, saying she “never feared for her life.”
Still, we have a feeling the RHONY ladies will be avoiding boats for a while…
