Can’t help but feel for Bethenny Frankel!
The Real Housewives of New York City star was brought to tears during an all-new episode of the show Wednesday night, all over the issues surrounding her ex-husband Jason Hoppy (pictured alongside Bethenny, above) and the restraining order she has against him that’s about to expire.

It was day two of the RHONY cast’s trip to Cartagena, Colombia, and even though it may have felt like a vacation for some, Bethenny was far from feeling the good vibes of travel life in an exotic and fun location.
Speaking to cast mate Dorinda Medley, Bethenny put it up succinctly about what should have been a relaxing time (below):
“I’m so stressed out, it’s beyond belief.”
The stress comes from Hoppy, who is nearing the end of his time bound by a court-ordered restraining order to stay away from Bethenny.
After their breakup — and eventual divorce, which was finalized in July 2016 — Bethenny alleged he harassed and stalked her endlessly, threatening the SkinnyGirl founder at her daughter’s school and sending hundreds of hostile emails and text messages.

Well, after a judge initially granted a restraining order more than a year ago, it was extended in October — and now, as the show dealt with last night, it was rapidly coming to a conclusion.
Still speaking to Medley while on the trip, Bethenny explained more about it (below):
“The restraining order’s up in a month. I just got the custody papers to do the custody battle. I’m panicked about the restraining order being up. I’m just panicked. I’m trying to raise my daughter. I’m dealing with a despicable custody situation. There’s so much going on, I can’t even explain. I’m going to explode. I don’t have time for any bull shit.”
Ugh!
So scary — and unsettling to think those things can just expire with no consequences or further monitoring…
It wasn’t Bethenny’s only drama on the trip, though — and this wouldn’t have been a real episode of RHONY without a little inter-personal drama between castmates.

This time, it was between Bethenny and her former BFF Carole Radziwill, who got into another argument at least in part related to how the entire trip was planned by Tinsley Mortimer — Carole’s new BFF.
Bethenny admitted (below):
“It’s not easy to be on this trip with Carole. I’m having a rough one. I’m trying not to show it but inside I feel upset I don’t have the same friendship I did with Carole before. And this is Carole’s best friend’s trip. So it’s like their trip. I feel like a little bit of an outsider. I’ve got a lot of stuff going on with my custody case. I’m here with someone who I used to be very close with who I’m not close with anymore so that’s more tension and makes me feel more awkward. I just feel trapped inside.”
Not a great emotional space to be in, either!

Granted, some of it (the Radziwill drama) we know is at least in part self-created by Bethenny, but still… along with the mess around Hoppy’s restraining order, this was a tough week for Bethenny.
