LOLOLOLz!! Talk about awkward!
Remember this year’s Super Bowl Half-Time show? Ya know the one with Bruno Mars & the Red Hot Chili Peppers?
Well, it looks like they weren’t actually playing live. The Internet was freaking out about it, so we did some diggin — and there’s some preeettttty solid proof.
Exihibit A – their instruments. If you check out the pics (below), you’ll notice that none of the guitars are plugged in.
Ooopsie!
But here’s the kicker, Flea, the band’s bassist, took to his Twitter to let the world know the TRUTH about the whole situation!
He said:

Well, there ya have it! At least he’s confirming it and not lying about it!
We guess when it’s something as big as the Super Bowl Half-Time show, it’s got to go down without a hitch, but usually they make an effort to make it at least a little bit convincing!
Except, in this case, they didn’t even try! LOLz!!!
