In the UK, a very pregnant cat named Puss Puss had recently gone missing.
Some people passed by one of those clothing drop off dumpster things when they heard meowing from inside.
Some people even brought food to the container to try and coax the cat out.
Firefighters and even the owners of the container tried and failed to get it open.
It took specialists with a steel saw to finally get the container open.
The owner of the bin said:
“Once we got into the bin we heard the meow again, it sounded just like a cat and we all started to carefully search the bags.
Then I found a bag of toys and picked out a toy cat.
I said: ‘It couldn’t be this could it?’
It wasn’t making any noise and I asked if I could cut it open to investigate. As I held it, it went off, meow, meow, mystery solved!
The lads were in stitches, it was such a laugh.”
We’re glad everyone could share a laugh even though they spent over half a day trying to rescue a stuffed toy.
